Hi All
Just wanna know if I trade 77 post plat how much would it be fair to get in Pre gold?

Also does anyone want to trade post for pre?

Not sure why you would want to do this .... Gold is gold, whether pre or post. 1000 gold = 1 plat, no matter where you earned it. You cannot bring anything from Post into Pre, of course. Maybe I am missing something here? There are scammers in Ascalon who hustle this kinda thing ... Why do you want Pre gold?????

Not everyone is a scam, I have been moving gold from pre to post for years with hardly any trouble.

Here's my old thread (I am currently not trading though)

The current going rate is around 1g pre = 2/2.5g post.

The best place for trades of this kind used to be www.presearing.com but it is not as busy as it once was. Worth a try though.

The old exchange rate was 2 to 1 as I recall but I hear it is up to 3 to 1 these days. At least someone mentioned that to me last month. Don't know myself since I haven't exchanged any.

And no it is NOT a scam. It is hard to get large quantities of gold in Pre so the money becomes like any commodity and it is therefore "worth" more due to "supply and demand" than Post money. You use the gold to buy lots of Nick's presents or dyes or Charr bags or stacks of whatever to ship on your mule to Post.

It has been what people have been doing since forever but especially since Nick starting giving out presents for farmed items in Pre. That's how a lot of Party, Drunk and even Sweet titles have been farmed via Pre over the years.

(And there are also people who want large amounts to buy black and/or white dyes in Pre for their toons there as a way to stockpile an item they can sell later for more money like ectos are used in Post).

The current rate is 1:3 basically. I've been selling BD for 1:6e very easily so we can even say it's a bit more than that

(BD = 16k)
